Company News >> What should you pay attention to during the use of the LCD module? 23th,Oct,2018
                                              1. Processing the protective film A protective film is applied on the surface of the finished module liquid crystal display device to prevent the display surface from being stained during assembly, and must not be removed before the assembly of the whole machine to avoid soiling or staining the display surface.
2. Adding a pad It is best to add a pad of about 0.1 mm between the module and the front panel. The panel should also be absolutely flat to ensure that no distortion is generated after assembly and that vibration resistance is improved.
3. The control and drive circuit in the anti-static module is a low-voltage, micro-power CMOS circuit, which is easily broken down by static electricity, and the human body sometimes generates high-voltage static electricity of up to several tens of volts or hundreds of volts. Therefore, in operation, assembly, And should be extremely careful in use, to prevent static electricity. To do this: Do not touch the outer leads, the circuit board and the metal frame on your board. If direct contact is required, keep the human body at the same potential as the module or ground the human body well. The soldering iron used for soldering must be well grounded and there is no leakage. Tools such as electric screwdrivers for operation must be well grounded and there is no leakage. Do not use a vacuum cleaner for cleaning. Because it produces a strong static electricity. Air drying will also generate static electricity. Therefore, the humidity in the workplace should be above RH60%. Electrical resistance should be formed between the ground, workbench, chair, shelf, cart and tool to maintain it at the same potential, otherwise static electricity will also be generated. Care should also be taken when removing or returning to the bag or moving the position to prevent static electricity. Do not change the packaging or share the original packaging at will. Electrostatic breakdown is an irreparable damage, so be careful not to care.
4. Precautions during assembly operation The module is carefully designed and assembled. Do not process or trim it yourself. Metal frame claws must not be twisted or disassembled at will. Do not modify the shape, mounting holes, wiring and components of the PCB. Do not modify the conductive strip. Do not modify any internal brackets. Do not touch, drop, bend, or twist the module.
5. Soldering When soldering the outer leads and interface circuits of the module, the following procedures should be followed. The tip temperature is less than 280 °C. The welding time is less than 3~4S. Welding material: eutectic type, low melting point. Do not use acid flux. Do not repeat soldering more than 3 times, and each interval is 5 minutes apart.
6. Module use and maintenance When the module is connected to the power supply and disconnected from the power supply, the signal level must be input after the positive power supply (5±0.25V) is securely connected. If the signal level is input before the power supply is stably connected or disconnected, the integrated circuit in the module will be damaged and the module will be damaged. The dot matrix module is a high-channel liquid crystal display device, and has a large relationship between display contrast, viewing angle, temperature, and driving voltage. Therefore, Vee should be adjusted to the best contrast and viewing angle. If the Vee is adjusted too high, it will not only affect the display, but also shorten the life of the liquid crystal display device. When used below the lower limit of the specified operating temperature range, the display response is very slow, and when used at the upper limit of the specified operating temperature range, the entire display surface will turn black again. This is not damage, just restore the specified temperature range, everything will be restored to summer. normal. Pressing the display area with force will produce an abnormal display. At this time, the power is turned off and re-accessed to return to normal. When the surface of the liquid crystal display device or module is fogged, do not work on the power, as this will cause the electrode to react chemically and cause wire breakage. When used for a long time under the sun and strong light, residual images will be generated in the covered area.
7. Module storage If storage is long-term (such as several years), we recommend the following: Load a polyethylene bag (preferably with anti-static coating) and seal the mouth. Store between -10 and +35 °C. Let go of the dark and avoid the light. Never push anything on the surface. Strictly avoid storage under extreme temperature/humidity conditions. When stored under special conditions, it can also be stored at 40 ° C, 85% RH, or 60 ° C, less than 60% RH, but should not exceed 168 hours.
8. Transportation: LCD and LCM should not be shaken or dropped vigorously during transportation. There should be no external force and no water, no dust and no direct sunlight.
