LG Display 65" Rollable OLED TV Products
At the SID 2019 scene, the 65-inch UHD Rollable OLED TV on the front of the LG Display showroom attracted the attention of the guests. Last year, LG Display exhibited Rollable (curlable) OLED display products for the first time in the world. It has received high evaluation in terms of image quality, application range and design freedom, reflecting the potential of OLED's differentiated innovation.
In addition to the rollable TV products, the OLED's compact structure makes it easy to differentiate between ultra-high definition and self-sounding. The LG Display also showcased the largest 88-inch 8K OLED TV in the existing OLED TV and the 88-inch 8K OLED (Crystal Sound OLED) TV that does not require audio and emits sound directly on the screen. For the fast-developing in-vehicle display market in recent years, LG Display has made breakthroughs with P-OLED with high design freedom as its core technology. P-OLED has clear picture quality and can naturally realize curved surface display, which is very suitable for vehicle environment and is considered to be the best next-generation vehicle display technology.
This time, LG Display demonstrated a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel consisting of two P-OLED panels, a 13-inch Information Display Center (CID), and a 12.3-inch transparent OLED display with a light transmission rate of 45%. The combination of the digital cockpit (Cockpit) sets the direction for the future automotive market.
In addition, LG Display also demonstrated a large-scale improvement in image quality, a display for digital X-ray detectors (DXD, Digitalized X-Ray Detector) that meets the needs of medical diagnostic accuracy, and integrated touch sensors inside the panel.
